Surface area and the strength ofnthat surface are is higher than a pole attached at two points as your contact area is much higher. tacomaguy1 Posted September 26, 2013 Report Share Posted September 26, 2013 the roof in the front of my wall has one layer of mdf....glued around the edges and since the roof is curved, I drilled holes in it once it was up and sprayed foam in the gap It's super solid, not a lot of flex at all.
