HatersGonnaHate Posted June 23, 2013 Report Posted June 23, 2013 I learned that the hard way too!! SOLO cups tend to melt through pretty easily with resin and hardener!! Lately I've been using empty coffee buckets, the strong plastic ones. They seem to hold up pretty well to all the heat. And so far, I've had decent luck being able to pull all the old, hardened resin out of them and reuse them. tacomaguy1 Posted June 23, 2013 Report Posted June 23, 2013 When it cures it puts off heat, maybe it was mixed hot and the heat cracked the cup? I use the clear measuring cups from the paint section at HD. Can re use them and the lines on the side make for easy measuring/mixing Team Flex Issues

PSTONE gave up the goods... He asked if my cups have the finger, or hand contour on them.. .(thinner ill assume?) I said Yes sir... BOOM... Fuck... it pisses me off, cuz bro, i had a KILLER mat going down.. edges were tits, i tucked some up under the side. Then. laid another piece down, wet a 1/4th of it, and realized that my cup had just puked up a puddle.. I panicked and what you see there, is the result.. All I have to do is squeeze and the hardened resin pops right out and it's good for another use. Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.

Also tostitos dip jars work as well, but I usually use all of those to hold all my screws, nuts, bolts, and miscellaneous fasteners.
