scooter99 Posted January 30, 2014 Report Posted January 30, 2014 Id say the hate for Pioneer is pretty subjective. I've had pioneers forever, and not one mechanical problem with them. Some operator error, and bad design ideas, but you get that with any other head unit. I had an Alpine unit, before I bought a pioneer double din, and never looked back. I think Alpine had some great stuff back in the day, some of the best, but I think they are just average along with everyone else now. They don't even have a processed head unit (like the 80prs) anymore do they? No you have to buy a $1200 processor from them. Every company has it's issues. They also have their fans and haters. No different than saying DC FTMFW and FI sucks cock, RIGHT KYLE!?! It's all opinion and fan based views. Anyway, Kyle I hope it works for you. If not, IPAD IN THE DASH TIME!!!!!!!!!!! Deck's display shutting off but music still playing from a USB. Dude's name was Cody, 8 15's in a 4th off a B2 10k...2 door Tahoe... Talked to him about it. Dedicated power and ground runs to the rear battery bank. He was saying it was the deck itself that was causing the problem.... Does the deck vibrate at all Kyle? Kind of a dumb question to ask when you're doing 55's but all the vibration could be causing it to fuck up. I know there is louder, WAY louder than me, like yourself, that use the same deck. Im gonna try a few things, and if it dont work, then, ill do .... .something..... whatever that means.. Some head way, ... ive learned when i get belt squeek, its just time for a new belt. I did change the spring idler, and the belt. I bought a second belt,.... for because.....
