She did a lot for SPL and we owe her many thanks. She was also a mother and grandmother and a former teacher. The SPL world and our world in general has lost someone great. Rection Posted March 29, 2013 Report Share Posted March 29, 2013 this is a sad day. i remember back in the day, several years in a row sitting around at nopi with "ma" talking about her favorite dessert, cheesecake, and other topics as well. she was a great lady, as nice as can be, and would talk all day long to ya. even though i was on top of my game at this time, i was still quite star-struck meeting her. it was always a great time hanging out with her and scott owens at the big shows. here is a pic from '04, when i first met alma.
