I've had the biggest urge recently to go mountain biking, but I'm waiting until I can get myself a new bike (the components on mine are all shot, so I just decided to upgrade frames as well). Are any of you guys into downhill/freeride?

Wow... Talk about fast paced!

Going down sure looks fun. But it looks like it'd be a long walk/ride up haha

Always wanted to get into this but I'm nowhere near good enough on a bike to do it like this.

Oh and that looks like the same place as this...

his table top in the mist at 1:29 is erie in a dope way!

the major local ski resort (stevens pass) here in washinton opens up the downhills to mountian bikers every summer. not as hardcore as this but still fast and dangerous.

I've actually been up to Steven's a couple times. They've only got a few runs so far, but it's already really nice up there! Do you ride? I live about an hour and a half away from Steven's, just outside Seattle.

That's what's so nice about having ski lifts or friends who don't mind shuttling you up! Haha

I've definitely got some work to do before I'm anywhere near this good! And that does like a pretty similar location. The Pacific Northwest is one of the main mountain bike capitals in the world, so there are a ton of trails up here like that.
