I wouldnt run 1k to them. Its what a 2 inch coil you want to run 1k to them get a sa series or above. 500-600 sure. Tahts not too bad but when you are going to throw 3 times rated at them and obviously dont really know a whole lot about whats going on then I would say no.

Power compression with vary from build to build and enclosure to enclosure though. its going to depend on your efficiency of your enclosure. Im willing to bet someone out there is running 1k to the cheapest speaker sundown makes but Im willing to bet they know far more about it than I bought this woofer Im going to ask these anonymous people on the internet if it will work.

First off 1k to an e-series is a terrible idea, u will fry that sub. If u want to run 1k get a subwoofer rated for 1k or something close to it. Yes rms ratings can be jokes sometimes. HDC4 2000rms haha more like lets slap 4k to it. But then again over powering may not be for everybody. If u don't trust yourself or u have to ask, don't do it. But if u r dead set on running 1k to it, post back here an let us know how it went.
