I agree with that, completely. The only stock import that is insane, is a Nissan GTR. Stock with same HP your mustang has, that is nuts. I think your mustang though has more torque, and that's the shit that wins races.

390HP from a 4.6 and supercharged is horrible. That's like 85HP per liter.

Most naturaly aspirated european cars get 70-80 HP per liter. Most turbo'd cars make 100HP per liter.

If you take a sport european car like a ferrari 360, it makes 405HP with only a "small" naturally aspirated 3.6L engine .

I think import also means europese cars, there a quite a lot of those that will be faster/nicer then most american cars.

Because if you say most imports are stock slow,then you say most porches, ferraris,lamborghinis, maserati, aston martin, jaguar, spyker, big BMW's,big audi's, big Mercedes are slow.

Quite a lot of europese cars are pretty shitty too in terms of quality, look at most volkswagens these days, audi, entry mercedes cars are not reliable. (i'm talking about cars made in the last 2-3 years.)

You almost can't beat the reliability a toyota has, more reliable then the german brands.

Imports are so so,newer muscle cars so so but classic 65 mustangs or 69ss Camaro,GTO and classics like these with or without mods can stand their ground. Against most stock imports of the normal class. Put mods into them both the classic still can hold their ground well enough. I would drive either pre 00 after that most cars are just ugly soulless tin.

In my mind, I think the supra or a R34 are the fastest / easiest imports to tune and mod . I mean, if a ST supra can keep up with a ZX-10R, I wouldnt be able to hand the TT.
