The kit im getting is 2" in the front and 4" in the rear. I dont need to be tucking but I HATE the look when people throw on wheels and dont touch the suspension. Ben Fultz Posted April 29, 2013 Report Share Posted April 29, 2013 If you don't get aftermarket shocks designed for lowered vehicles your rides going to suffer, since your stock shocks will be partially compressed giving you less travel to absorb the impact. Ben Fultz Posted April 29, 2013 Report Share Posted April 29, 2013 The biggest thing to worry about when lowering trucks is drive shaft pinion angle. If you have access/own a angle finder check before drop and after, and depending on how much it changed you may want to buy shims to correct the pinion angle.
