XS Power

So I got my xs charger on Tuesday and decided to charge up my batteries.. Read the book 4 times to make sure I under stood everything and the I hooked it up.. Had a volt meter attached to keep a eye on things then I went back out side like 2 hrs later and it was a solid green light.. Indicating that it had been completely charged.. Well what throws me off is that the battery sits at 12.75 now... After a fresh charge is that a lil low or did everything go accordingly..

he wouldnt be the first to say they did a 167 with a system like that (one that clearly DOESNT), but i have to say, he didnt beat me anywhere, ive never competed against the guy. If he thinks his does a 167, mine would probably put him in a coma. :hairtrick:

Did you recondition or just charge? 12.75 is normal afaik but sometimes you can "train" a battery to sit a little higher. Usually around 13.1 ish.

Discharge/charge a couple times

My d1400 would sit at 14.8 after a full charge. I drained/charged it 2 times and now it sits at 15.2

Turn your car to "run" but don't turn it on

Flip on your lights/fogs/interior vents/defroster. Anything that drains power

Take the battery down to 10.5-11v range then immediately put it on the charger. They key is to not let the battery sit

Question, would charging it on a 1.25A charger be enough? Or should I turn my car on and let it run for a bit?

You'll want a bigger charger

I wouldn't suggest turning on your car to charge the battery either
