Omega5002
I have no issue with Kicker, if you get the drivers for cheap, they are good. Hell, my CVR12 did me well for the 2 years I had it, and I put it through 400 rms, 700 rms, 900 rms, and to this day, it still plays, my friend now has it with my old box, and shit, it sounds better and louder in his CR-V on 500 rms than it ever did in my car.Sure, the people who usually run it boast on how it's the "loudest and hardest" hitting sub ever, but everyone has their start and/or opinion.Only thing I don't like about Kicker is their square subs, and their amps being rated at 2 ohms, I prefer 1 ohm 2003 Kia Sorento Team Subsonic LowsTeam Bassin' on a Budget2016 Rebuild Under Construction Best score: 150.2 at 40hz (3k, 2 Custom HDC3 15's) Usaci style(door open, in the kick)

matt14
I dont mind kicker so much. I ran a L7 as my first setup and liked it. I have seen a lot of kicker products on craigslist as well as Rockford saying they are the " hardest hitting sub". To that person, It probably is the hardest set up they have ever heard. Not too many people have ever heard of brands like AA, sundown, Crescendo, etc..... and will only buy from there local shop. And some people who run Kicker do sound like Kicker nuthuggers, but we have plenty of members who sound like sundown, DC, AA nuthuggers as well, just like them. I also just looked up the price for a Kicker zx2500 and a sundown saz2500, price difference is only $70 which is not that much money when going with a "mainstream" company https://www.woofersetc.com/ShoppingCart.aspx?add=true&ReturnUrl=https%3a%2f%2fwww.woofersetc.com%2fc-27-one-channel.aspx%3fmanufacturerid%3d61%26pagenum%3d3 2006 GMC YukonPioneer HU SHCA ran throughout Crescendo BC3500 One 18 AA Mayhem in a 4th order ZED Levithian 6 channel Rainbow Dual 6.5 comps ran Activehttp://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/155628-matt14s-yukon-mayhem-in-a-4th-ordernew-amps-and-bats/page-

big dee
I don't hate kicker at all. As a matter of fact I was running a solox 18 a few years back . Hit hard didn't sound that great . I prefer different brands over kicker. Guess I grew out of kicker lol but not saying I wouldn't run them again if I got a deal on some but I will never just set out to buy kicker. I just feel there's better subs for the price
Quiet
I think that's the general consensus, is that no one really hates Kicker. Hell, I like the fact that you can actually get half decent car audio gear at Walmart. They don't sell Boss at least. But when someone starts talking smack about anything but Kicker, it's hard not to mention they have a Walmart setup. 2007 Pacifica Rebuild. Less quiet. Still not loud. Emoxihax
my first sub was a kicker and i would definitely run kicker again if i had to 2004 Volkswagen GLI 1 10" Skar VVX ^^^ Looking for an amp to run it, Pm me if you have one ^^^
banginhummer
basically, why you pay the price for a kicker l7 when you can get a sundown, dc, soar, etc... oh and their ability to hit lowwws. (tried every kicker thats on the market as of now, except the new models, because I retired from use of kicker products a while back) and also now that its such a mainstream brand, don't wanna have same system as everyone in the city. *Hummer H3* HeadUnit Pioneer AVH-X4600BT Mids and Highs 8-CT Sounds Pro 8" 8ohm 4-CT Sounds Pro Tweeters Amplifiers 1-CT Sounds 125.4 1-CT Sounds 60.4 1-CT Sounds 7000.1 Electrical 3-Runs of 1/0 CT Sounds 8-XS Power D3100 3-Iraggi 300 amp Alternators Subwoofers 4-SQ Hdc3 15" Subwoofers (Soon to be 4 15" Ct Sounds EXO)
