Max1636 Posted June 12, 2013 Report Share Posted June 12, 2013 For my new box I'm building I want to use a speakon cable to go from my amp to my box to allow ease of connecting and disconnecting. I was going to use a standard 4 core speakon plug and connect the 1st and second set together to allow better current flow. Could there really be a significant difference between using a speakon and using bolts with terminals? The cable will only need to be less than a metre long. Less than 2 mOhms. i shook this one kids hand and it just folded in mine. long story short i fucked his girlfriendso.. yeah.. You want this to happen to you? Give decent handshakes people. The higher the more amperage it pulls, this is what I look at. Get the heavy duty ones though, you they will last you for ever and won't fail if you would once forget to disconnect it. They also fit in the terminal better after disconnecting it a lot.
