Almost all catchers come out over the top especially when you are playing pro ball. They teach you the ball comes back to your ear and snap. That was done intentionally. this is a junior baseball player.not even sure if its high school. When I played ball in high school we had a catcher who didn't take any shit. There was an ump who umped baseball and refereed basketball. He was a total prick to the kid catching at all times. Teched him up like three times. He ended up umpiring one of his last games as a senior. We had a kid that three in the low 90s. topped out at about 93 on a good day. either way its pretty fast. They get a guy on first. Kid catching calls for a fastball. He jumps out like its a pitch out and that 93 mph fastball caught him in the chest. Kid sold it beautifully screaming and yelling that he called for the pitchout and everything.
