aculous
Just a couple of BAMFs hangin out at McIntosh Labs. "Ken helped Carl streamline the computer program he had developed for design of the crossover network to be used in the XRT18 speaker system. Later, Ken ran the program over the weekend on the big DEC computer that was far better than anything we had at McIntosh. Even then, it took 91 hours to arrive at a solution. In those days of limited computer abilities, this was a big deal" Edited May 10, 2016 by aculous
Kevin M
Some random shots from a Power plant I'm working at in Pennsylvania. There are two units at this plant. Each capable of around 5 megawatts each. Were putting instrumentation on the turbine to measure some upgrades they've made. . .. This is inside the exhaust. This are will be around 9-1100 degrees when it's running. A view looking the other way of the exhaust with flow. It's really hard to describe how big this thing is. You can't see it all in the photo but this is nearly four stories tall. . 2 Quote 2005 Ford Focus zx4 AMT's and Planars 18" Infinite baffle
