big dee Posted June 26, 2013 Report Posted June 26, 2013 These amps are Digital Designs just not built in house like the DD series in Oklahoma CityNot doubting you, but can you somehow back that up? It seems off to me because the rated watts and input voltages don't line up. Ie.. the aq2200 does 2200 @ 1ohm and 14.4, the M2b is the closest DD amp to that and it does 1700 @ 12v and 2400 @ 14.4 at 1 ohm. Plus the cases while both are black are not the same. And the layout of the rcas, gains and crossovers are also not the same which suggests they are probably built on different boards as well. I could be wayyyy off here lol, but it seems to me that they are very different creatures.there not the same as dd lol some of the parts are the same tho. I've had several aq amps and every single one of them were an still are good amps. Honestly I couldn't tell much difference in the out put on the 750 vs 1200. Just the 1200 is bigger in size. I was shocked about how much there 750s put out . You can't go wrong going with soundqubed /Audioque .

Not the same company, though. I have had amps from SQ ship with digital designs return labels. It's just a fact of the matter thing. audiofanaticz Posted June 2, 2014 Report Posted June 2, 2014 These amps are Digital Designs just not built in house like the DD series in Oklahoma City DD Amps ARE NOT built in Oklahoma, they are made in Korea, just like every other quality amp made by companies such as DC, Sundown, American Bass to name a few.
