kickass audio Posted July 3, 2013 Report Posted July 3, 2013 I have the exact same thing of that that I bought off newegg. Its a TON of compound so if you don't use a lot then don't waste your time. I used it on my precision power pc2350 that meade just tested for me and it worked great. The amp runs a little cooler than the stock crap that was on it before I changed it out. I used rubbing alcohol on the fets and surface of the amp. I never know when I come up on these older amps and when I do the thermal grease is always dried out. Quick maintenance and having this stuff on hand will prevent them from over heating. being proactive. Rolex you sicken me. Just let me finish my pie ~ Juice

It comes with that tub and inside is a little protective lid that pulls out to keep the grease kinda liquidy (if thats even a word lmao) I keep the pull out top on and screw on the top as well to keep it fresh and prevent it from hardening up. If I were you get something like a small spreader for it as I find it super easy to take this grease and just get a dab of it onto a spreader and then apply it to the surface I need it on as opposed to trying to gob it on a surface and spread it out afterwards. STEvil Posted July 9, 2013 Report Posted July 9, 2013 Do not use artic silver on electronic parts where it has the potential to "transfer" as it may short some components out. Ceramic or normal grease (wheel bearing/ball hitch lubricant) work perfectly fine for the most part if you apply it correctly and install the heatsink correctly. Any time you have have a power wire next to your frame put some rubber hosing (or cut up an innertube) around it. The wire is bound to wiggle (due to driving or flex) and the casing will eventually wear through. Hammerdown... 1% no links to outside websites, business related FB/YT pages allowed.
