Topic says it all!

I turn 21 in 11 more days. I'm currently in AIT in Georgia so I'll probably wait until I graduate to apply for my permit and purchase something.

I've been looking at glock 19's and the remington r1 1911. I can't make my mind up. I love the 1911 style, but I'm interested in glocks too.

Any input would be great! Thanks guys!

New build coming soon..

Glock 17. My dad has one and it's really well balanced, light, and relatively cheap. Average around $500.

I have a little bit of experience, I've obviously never owned a pistol before. I've shot a good number of pistols that my friends own. A few glocks, various 1911's, etc. I would like to carry eventually, but I'm sure I will be at the range a lot with this pistol.

New build coming soon..

Glock 17 is real good and if you catch glock at right time since you military it's a good discount I got my 9mm for 410$ out the door, mags, case, cleaning rod, lock everything. But my favorite still been my smith and Wesson M&P 40
