bighossf150 Posted August 15, 2013 Author Report Posted August 15, 2013 got a ton of shit in yesterday but wasnt able to get many pics before it started raining, got my amp, deadener, black ca glue, e6000 and a ton a clamps for the recone quick layout of how the amps and dsp will be mounted, the plan is to velcro mdf to the floor of the truck under the carpet and the screw the amps to the mdf, I'd screw the mdf down but since this truck ony has like 1300 miles on it I really dont want to go putting holes in the floor of it already badass gain knob, clip light, on/off button and a voltage display and I just put in an order with skyhigh for more wiring shit Used to have a loud truck 2009 Corvette Z06, H/C/I, 150 shot, g force tune, 730rwhp/690rwtq 2013 F-150 limited, MPT Tune, leveled on 35"s
bighossf150 Posted September 2, 2013 Author Report Posted September 2, 2013 Alright guys, I finally got a little progress done I got the amps and processor mounted, there is mdf under the carpet velcroed to the floor of the truck and the amps/processor are screwed to the mdf amps/processor grounded to the frame, Im using shca ofc 12ga for the processor power/ground. The processor ground and the ground for the jl amp are both jammed into one ring terminal and crimped then stuffed into one run of techflex. The area around the ground was cleaned up with a wire wheel on my grinder the rattle canned black after the grounds were bolted up The sub will be on the passenger side under the back seat, it'll be sub forward and an external 3" pvc port firing the the driver side, looking to be round .5-.6 cubes tuned to 28-30hz the recone for the epic but havent mounted it yet Used to have a loud truck 2009 Corvette Z06, H/C/I, 150 shot, g force tune, 730rwhp/690rwtq 2013 F-150 limited, MPT Tune, leveled on 35"s
bighossf150 Posted February 7, 2014 Author Report Posted February 7, 2014 Time to bump this, my wife is getting me a cz702 for my birthday so I'm gonna get rid of the shit stock h/u, the jl is now in my f150 so I have an ampere audio 125.4 on the way to replace it. Imo the hsk165s should sound amazing on the ampere 125.4 and ms8. The recone is done and has shca 8ga ofc direct leads, overkill much? Lmfao. I also have some more shca stuff on the way since I used most of the wiring I bought for this build in my other truck, also have some more knu krystal rca's on the way. Used to have a loud truck 2009 Corvette Z06, H/C/I, 150 shot, g force tune, 730rwhp/690rwtq 2013 F-150 limited, MPT Tune, leveled on 35"s
