BigManAC
On another note I was able to cut out the door pods out of the birch. I traced where the upper panel was and then took it off. I laid paper over the door and traced it and cut it out. Put it back up on the door to make sure it fitted and then transferred that to the wood. Tomorrow I plan on getting the mounting rings and doing a sketch up. 2001 Saturn L200-Sony MEX-BT4100PFRONT STAGE:- (4) Crescendo PWX 6- Cadence XA250.2SUB STAGE:-Fi Audio BL 15 (Sealed Off)-Crescendo BC2kELECTRICAL:- Singer 240A alt - XS Power D3400- SkyHigh OFC power/speaker wire- Big 3 with SkyHigh 0gaugeBuild Log: Click HereScores: 146.5db @ 29hz Outlaw
BigManAC
Last week I was gonna finish my doors but the starter on my car went out so I had to fix that first. Got my new MDF speaker rings in so it was back to work. I got the rings mounted up and the sub sealed off from the speakers. Tomorrow Im gonna cover the pods in the fabric and start fiberglassing the pods. 2001 Saturn L200-Sony MEX-BT4100PFRONT STAGE:- (4) Crescendo PWX 6- Cadence XA250.2SUB STAGE:-Fi Audio BL 15 (Sealed Off)-Crescendo BC2kELECTRICAL:- Singer 240A alt - XS Power D3400- SkyHigh OFC power/speaker wire- Big 3 with SkyHigh 0gaugeBuild Log: Click HereScores: 146.5db @ 29hz Outlaw

My Saturn hasn't started to have those issues yet, but I'm waiting for the day... Yeah the good thing is that the problems are easy to fix. I've been able to do all the repairs myself so it hasn't gotten that expensive yet haha. 2001 Saturn L200-Sony MEX-BT4100PFRONT STAGE:- (4) Crescendo PWX 6- Cadence XA250.2SUB STAGE:-Fi Audio BL 15 (Sealed Off)-Crescendo BC2kELECTRICAL:- Singer 240A alt - XS Power D3400- SkyHigh OFC power/speaker wire- Big 3 with SkyHigh 0gaugeBuild Log: Click HereScores: 146.5db @ 29hz Outlaw
BigManAC
Over the past few days I've been doing little by little trying to knock these doors out. So far I have got them completely fiberglassed and I am in the process of attaching them to the top portion of the door. After that is done it will be time to see where the bolts are going and get them in place and it's all downhill from there. Cutting some fiberglass cloth down to size. Figuring out where it will be placed before glassing. Gotta have protection. It's gets toxic in that tiny garage. Door fully glassed. Just a little bit of cloth on the inside. Got them all sanded down and test fitting to the top panels. 2001 Saturn L200-Sony MEX-BT4100PFRONT STAGE:- (4) Crescendo PWX 6- Cadence XA250.2SUB STAGE:-Fi Audio BL 15 (Sealed Off)-Crescendo BC2kELECTRICAL:- Singer 240A alt - XS Power D3400- SkyHigh OFC power/speaker wire- Big 3 with SkyHigh 0gaugeBuild Log: Click HereScores: 146.5db @ 29hz Outlaw
04murdalanche
You'll want to throw a layer or two of fiberglass mat on the inside of your door pods so that they will be strong. Fiberglass cloth doesn't add much strength. All it takes is one moron to kick a door panel in.

BigManAC
It's been well over a month since I have even opened the garage to work on the doors. This weekend we are supposed to get some warmer weather so if I can I'm gonna try and get around to mounting the pods on the frames. Once my RCA's come in I will also be moving the front amp location and mounting it to the rear seat. 2001 Saturn L200-Sony MEX-BT4100PFRONT STAGE:- (4) Crescendo PWX 6- Cadence XA250.2SUB STAGE:-Fi Audio BL 15 (Sealed Off)-Crescendo BC2kELECTRICAL:- Singer 240A alt - XS Power D3400- SkyHigh OFC power/speaker wire- Big 3 with SkyHigh 0gaugeBuild Log: Click HereScores: 146.5db @ 29hz Outlaw
