BigManAC Posted April 13, 2014 Author Report Share Posted April 13, 2014 Got the DD-1 in today and have all of my gains correctly set. Now for the good stuff. Its been put off and put off but the time has finally come. Tomorrow I start on sealing off my trunk. I will be doing a box frame first to make sure the box will fit in the trunk and once I know it will fit I will be building the box. After that I will be buying more FatMat and putting it on my rear doors and rear dash. Went to Home Depot and got some 2x2's and made a quick frame. and it fit!!! The wood to the right will be used for sealing the box in the trunk and the wood to the left is the wood for the box. BigManAC Posted April 16, 2014 Author Report Share Posted April 16, 2014 Realized that my pictures didn't show the bracing some here's one now It rained like crazy today in NC like a lot if other places. I was able however to get a garage to work in. I out down some fiberglass resin on the edges of the box just to ensure a nice tight seal. The box fits like a glove iny car but a tight glove. There's a bolt that's keeping me from pushing the box all the way forward so tomorrow that's being cut off as well as the trunk light assembly that makes it difficult to put the box in the trunk. Tomorrow (well I guess today technically) the MegaMat comes in and I will be putting that in the rear dash and doors.
