WCA Rusty Posted February 22, 2008 Report Posted February 22, 2008 OK so lets start by saying i did this for fun in our Street A Car, The LV4 is a SQL woofer (long coil,lots of moving mass,fairly large gap)where the 9500 is really built for Street class SPL(superlight moving mass,composite cone,supertight gap,extream ampunts of motor) heres the details of the test, everything was clamped and tested for exact results 1 Hifonics amp Clamped at 3850 watts Freq Burped 57Hz DD 950010 D2 w/ composite cone SPL 153.7 DC LV410 D2 (stock) SPL 153.3 I was really surprised only .4 behind for a woofer that costs 1/3 of the price of a DD 9500 Every application is diffrent but these are the results from our St A car, I just put another LV410D2 together with just a LV5 D2 coil change, i left the suspention alone, I will have the test results from that later today.
