I have a 2003 Chevy Silverado 4 door and have 6 1/2s front and rear. I've never had good door speakers/ 4 channel amp so I want to do something decent this time. I dont want mainstream speakers (ex. kicker, alpine, kenwood, ect) Looking to spend $600 at the most for both pairs of 6 1/2s. I figure I can get a decent pair for $300 each, please let me know! thank you!

hmmm my best recommendation would be to go to a couple stores with a test cd or test thumbdrive with music you like to listen to and go demo some speakers and forget brand! kicker and kenwood have great top line stuff! i love the sound they produce!

but in my opinion if i had the extra cash right now i would buy these speakers! heard these and the sound made me cry almost... if i could afford the t5's id grab them instead haha http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_44192_Rockford-Fosgate-T3652-S.html

The T3s are $360 on Amazon & for a short period they has the T5s for $460! I have 2 sets of T2s butt just bought the T3s for up front & a T400-2 to drive the miss and leave the front channel of my T400-4 to run the highs. Which leaves the rear channel to run the T2s in the doors now to put in my kicker panels. Should sound pretty good, all active off my 80-PRS in my all RF build.
