350A not enough? Voltage drop too much.

It may have low idle too. Most alts the higher maximum output the lower idle. In my truck I dont get full output jntil about 2k considering my truck idles at like 600 rpm and cruises at 1200 I rarely get the benefitd of my dual alt outputs

Just went on a drive out for lunch. Full tilt air forces by Jeezy wasn't dropping below 13.1 and really pushing for it on my

Knob. It's 68 and raining. I think grounds are my issue. And heat. Cause I was resting at 13.8 and 13.5 at idle. So that means I only drop .7 which is expected

Heat is a bitch. Take it from me here in Texas over 100 everyday, I start 14.5... And with in 10 minutes I'm down to 13.6 with the system off lol.

I drop less with a 180 amp dc power and my AB 750.1.. much less.. with less batteries..

Something must be wrong. You need to get a clamp on that alt. Sorry if I missed it but is that 11.7 at idle? If it is your rpms might night be high enough to turn the alt on. Are you reading your voltage from the amps or front of the car?

Reading voltage at amps and batts currently. I have 2 meters. I would think less drop too. Unless this dd m3b really puts out power lol. And 11.7 is at amps at full tilt while driving. I idle about 13 when everything is hot.

The minute I turn it down I recover instantly on voltage. Ima check my resistances

For the current draw you have you need to have more batteries behind the alternator. The batteries are a buffering system for the alternator and if there is not enough reserve for where the current is being drawn from the next link is the alternator (and the only thing the alternator can do is heat up when the batteries are not there). Adding the direct grounds will also help.
Sounds like everyone else already figured it out though.
