AMI CUSTOMS
Just my 2 cents, none of my sub amps are fused and I run dual inputs, (4 power wires) per amp. And I daily drive my vehicle. You have to understand what the fusing is protecting and where is your cable ran. Am I at risk? It is a trade off, but I am confident in my install so it doesn't concern me like it would others. sayhuh?
Should show the difference. Do the same thing, but fuse the wire and show how it pops the fuse with no impact. (well minor, considering..) AMI, it is about trade off, and even with skills like yours, there is always risk. My question to you is, have you fused to see if there is an overall difference? MrSkippyJ
Personally I don't care how good I am at installing, I fuse. Too many other things that can go wrong in a car that a good install won't prevent a fire. I have not done a side by side comparison to see, just consulted with a few people who were much LOUDER then me and under others recommendations. Everything in my build is done for a specific reason, not just cuz lol. Those louder than you also don't drive theirs as daily's, I'd imagine Blown
Ben Fultz
I'd be more worried about wires shorting out and catching fire in a accident since you can't predict how the vehicle will twist and bend.
Sergeant_Skyrim
I remember the first job I worked at an orange grove, had to jump start a vehicle. Connected the first set of pos and neg and waited for the other guy to pull other vehicle around. Was holding the jumper cables behind my back when they arc'ed and burnt part of my shirt. Scary shit for sure lol Build in progress
