bcpballer64
I still don't get what they are, from reading I'm gathering that the are basically crypto code that has to meet certain characteristics to make it a 'bitcoin', and mining for them is basically just trying to solve the crypto code farther down the line? And how does it know you have found one? And if that is what they are what is topping two peoples machine from finding the same one? Does the timestamp make it so you only get the bitcoin if you found it first? JEMT8
I don't get it. I researched it and I don't get it. is it just internet currency that somebody created that people use like real money and have their own internet economy based around this type of currency? formerly known as Jaylor Swift

Guest
part of what i understand from it is that every computing device used to mine verifies other miners' work to make sure its legit. etc etc. you use your gpu/asic/fpga/whatever to solve math equations or some shit. the more people mining and the greater the hashing amount, the higher the difficulty will be. and vice versa. the higher the difficulty, the less you get paid from mining. tl:dr i have no idea.
