As for your friend. Manning yp and turning himseld in will be the only way it doesnt get worse. He fucked up missed court. He can admit it and maybe they will give him a 9th chance or not. Running or ignoring it means hes screwed. A felony is a felony regardless of juvenile age or not. Im guessing hes close enough in age to be tried as an adult. Does he really want to roll those diceM

He's 18. He was convicted at 17. So technically they can't throw him in county cause this probation case was as a juvinile.

If I may contact with anyone for any reason and run them and they come up with any warrants they get no slack on what I'm doing with them and getting hooked up on the warrants .

And judges just love people who don't turn themselves in.

And btw, if he gets run and comes up with felony warrants he better hope officer tackleberry isn't there, cause one wrong move and your buddies gonna get hurt

Not all felonies are considered equal however I will not knowingly engage in an activity that will label me as one. I like my guns and ability to vote. You can make the personal choice to do so I will not. I wasnt aware it was a felony to be gay though.

I didn't say it was a felony to be gay. I said that criminalizing peaceful behavior is akin to making homosexuality a felony. In other words, it was a metaphor.

And it isn't engaging in activity that gets one labeled as a felon... it's getting caught doing so. But if you think you don't take that risk, check out "Three Felonies A Day" by attorney Harvey Silvergate. There's almost no possibility that you even know when you're committing a felony and when you aren't. Unless of course, you stay abreast of the ~50,000 new crimes that hit the books each year.

Alright guys, I was on my iPhone earlier and I didn't feel like typing an essay on there, so here's the LONG STORY:
Pretty much, he got caught with 2 other people tagging (dumbass, I know). They did over $10,000 worth of damage to a city all together. DEJ is a program in California which allows juveniles who made a "Bad" mistake pretty much another chance. As you guys know, it goes from informal, to formal, to ferlo probation. DEJ is a parent based informal probation, meaning instead of the probation officer always constantly checking up on you, they just pee test you or help your parents when they feel like the juvenile isn't listening.

So when him and the 2 other guys went to court, he was the only one given DEJ. They also said that they all have to pay $10,000 each and then they get 6,600$ refurbished. In other words, they each have to pay around 3.3 grand which equals $10,000 total, but since they ALL did the damage of $10,000 worth of stuff, they each have to pay that amount then get their other money back.

DEJ allows the juvenile a chance to clear their felonies. Meaning, if there clean for a year, no police contact, clean pee test, complete drug class program, graduate high school, etc, they get the felonies they were substained removed. Well, in this case, not for him.

He didn't complete his drug classes or pay the $10,000, so in the end he just said fuck it. Stupid mistake. Now its been a week and a half since his court day was scheduled and now he got in the mail the warrant issued.

And now he wants to go on the run for a week or 2, make some money, then turn himself in. The reason he wants to do this is because if he has to go to county after juvie, he can have money for his books.

IDK, in the end, I'm just trying to give him advice.

Yes my friend, yes he was. But it wasn't adult court. It was juvenile court. So he didn't go to COUNTY , he went to juvie

To have a plan to go on the run is seemingly criminal minded. Give him the advice of turning himself in ASAp or else judge will give him the advice of *better luck next time*
