sundown escort
I want to be completely sure, even though it seems that 8 gauge power wire would be fine for speaker wire. It is sky high ofc 8 gauge Also, what size ring teminal would it take to use the back of a push terminal on a sub to bolt it on. Or is there a better way to hook it up? Thanks for any input

HHR Ed
Yes you can use it for speaker wire. I would assume that youd have to use an 8awg ring terminal. Or just jam the wire into the push terminal. Airborne
I do that if I have some left over. If I find a good deal on some I snatch it up just because I like to over do everything...
Krakin
To spec 8 gauge wire should have a radius of 1.63 mm. So go off that and then make it a little bigger if a company might make their wire over-sized. Krakin's Home Dipole Project http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/186153-krakins-dipole-project-new-reciever-in-rockford-science/#entry2772370 Krakin, are you some sort of mad scientist? I would have replied earlier, but I was measuring the output of my amp with a yardstick . . . What you hear is not the air pressure variation in itself but what has drawn your attention in the two streams of superimposed air pressure variations at your eardrums An acoustic event has dimensions of Time, Tone, Loudness and Space Everyone learns to render the 3-dimensional localization of sound based on the individual shape of their ears, thus no formula can achieve a definite effect for every listener.
