Light bulbs on tweeters

i have been hearing about light bulbs on the tweeters positive lead to protect it, what size bulb to use i want to give it a try.

if you have the proper crossover application in place, there is no need for anything like this ...

The light bulb is for overpowering the tweeters as they are more sensitive to over powering than mids and subs. If it starts to glow then you are getting too much power to go to the tweeter.

What would be cool is if the light bulbs lit up when the music was playing! But yeah, if your properly crossed over, you don't need them.

Try using 1.5 amp fuse works better. Light bulb gets hot. You can still blow tweeter with crossover.

just get a basic dome light from autozone.
