is is true that dc mainly a spl sub and that uses old technology from fi?

The build quality & quality control is just as good as FI audio IMO. However I am a 4" cool *edit "coil" nuthugger lol

I'm a DC Audio Nuthugger (check my signature lol) Had 4 15s and now i have 2 lvl 6 15s which are 4 inch coils and can handle 5k daily each, if not more (safely) Like the others said, go with a bunch of subs to get a ton of cone area, be smart with your power and be sure to have reserve capacity in batteries so you can play for a while.

I LOVE my Fi BL 15, of course with that big of a budget you would go with the SP4.

edit: and make sure you have the ability to support the power needed. Thats always a key step

2 fi sp4 18s might put you a little over budget. 2 zv4 18s will put you a little over as well. you could do like 4 Sundown SA 15s. look into Tantric. never heard um yet, but they get good reviews.

Check my sig. If not look into some crossfire xs v2's. Both should be just barely in your price range.
