audiofanaticz Posted November 15, 2013 Report Share Posted November 15, 2013 Id update your card, or at least make sure it has latest drivers... but then again if skype just idling is causing you to use up 36% of your cpu, Id say screw getting a card and upgrade that in a heartbeat.. A simple messaging program isnt to demanding when idle, compare that to a new game like bf4, your going to have bottleneck issues... Also, have you prime 95'ed your overclock to ensure its stable? Just because it was stable in one other game say BF3 for example does not mean it will be stable in bf4, especially if the game maxes out your pc at 100% which I bet it does, just judging by its use with just skype. Personally I rarly prime now, since im doing Folding @ Home, and that maxes out your CPU and GPU to 100%, and I let my pc run 10-16hours daily with both maxed out for medical research.
