Just a 16 year olds build * a little older and a lot bigger system. Jeep Cherokee 4th order with 4 18s rebuild starts page 4

Recommended Posts

So I'm obviously new to the forum so I figured I would make my first post a good one. The basics of my build are 2 Incriminator audio death penalty 18s on a basscleff 3500 (haha the subs will laugh at it) in 14 cubes and in the back of a jeep Cherokee below the window line. I've done 3 other sort of builds before this one in my jeep I'm obviously no expert so advice is more than welcome. I like pictures more than typing so I'm going to try and post more pictures than words.

got everything all cut out time to start assembly tomorrow still thinking about designs for an amp rack I know its going between the front of the box and the front seats just going to see how much room I have after the box is done. I think I'm going to use a blue semi transparent stain on the box it'll be something different and I love the look of it

Krakin's Home Dipole Project

Krakin, are you some sort of mad scientist?

I would have replied earlier, but I was measuring the output of my amp with a yardstick . . .

What you hear is not the air pressure variation in itself

but what has drawn your attention

in the two streams of superimposed air pressure variations at your eardrums

An acoustic event has dimensions of Time, Tone, Loudness and Space

Everyone learns to render the 3-dimensional localization of sound based on the individual shape of their ears,

thus no formula can achieve a definite effect for every listener.

Thanks for all the support guys. I got a little more done not very much though I realized I cut a piece 1 1/2 in to short so now I have to re cut that but I clamped things together to see how it would look. I think its turning out pretty good. Here's some more pics plus a couple random ones.

wtf, when I was 16 I had 2 xplod 10"s in a shitty IB setup on a 222w xplode amp lol. You are off to a hell of a start and nice choice on the amps, I have 4 of them in my truck
