Kranny
who cares how underrated an amp is? have you seen the amp dyno of the ct 1400? comparing that amp to the brutus 1700 meade also dynoed. the ct 1400 did 2400 watts at 14.1v on the burst test. the brutus 1700 did 1800 at 15.2v. a whole volt MORE, and 600 watts less. edit: even in certified distortion mode, the ct did 1200 at 12.7v and the hifonics did 1200 at 14.8v. TWO VOLTS more. for the same power.
kl0wn
aq2200 is a beast amp. Let's say in this certain situation, that you got 2.4k out of the Hifonics, and 2.2k out of the AQ. You won't be able to hear that 200 watt difference... But with 2 of the X's, I would definitely give them more than 1k a piece. Hell, I'm running the aq3500 @ .5 to 4 SA's... And my friend is running a Shok 2k to 2 SA's, and they are taking it like it's nothing. I say save up your money, and moar powa! 06 Mini Cooper S Sundown, SoundQubed Cadence, XS Power 151s Sealed 155s Outlaw Windshield @ 37hz

Miguels
the brutus is shit amp with dirty power.. i owned them before.. and the dyno does not account for impedance rise.. get an under rated amp so you can see close to rated after impedance rise. my logshttp://www.stevemead...-my-new-set-up/my blow through loghttp://www.stevemead...future-updates/ 96 ss http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/164094-96-impala-ss-build/
