1200 is a steal, quality products, quality fabricator, custom made pieces off injection molding tooling he had made specifically for these, that doesnt come cheap, theres a demand and he is filling it.

"expensive" is all relative....

All my flip screen decks in the past (Pioneer Avic 1, 2 and 3's), my Alpine and Pioneer double din's......were all $1500 and up. I remember spending $1999 on my N1 at the time. So $1200 seems expensive until you look at the bigger picture. You get an Ipad mini, you get the dash kit, you get the kit ready to go for your vehicle. You not only have an ipad for a deck but you get to take it out and use it for other stuff. To me, it's worth it if you look at it like that. You can always do the work yourself if you got it like that I know i could but once in a while, i don't mind having the work done for me. Plus, those guys are getting damn good at it.

Well worth 1200 especially the quality of work Doug has put into it.

Try to do it urself that clean. I guarantee it takes a damn long time

I thought it was just the iPad and the dash kit. Dam that's a steal your getting the module as well I did not know that am for sure Jumping on one. But all I need is the dash kit no iPad I can get one for cheap

Some of you guys are cheap lol. Its funny. You'll spend that much on a shit load of amps and subs but not on a head unit or in this a multimedia experience? Ive always pushed against the ipad in the dash but if I get this mercedes Ill be doing one. these are so much cleaner than a head unit at this point.

I would not consider a I pad a HU.

why not? Its serving the same function. It provides GPS audio playback voice confirmations the ability to do all the same things as a head unit. Except you also get the ability to browse the internet connect directly to itunes to download music. check mail you name it.
