I believe the port is right where the hatch latches at.

That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.

just saw that in his build, thanks.

idlk how he pulled a 152 with that small of a port. must have been the power.

id recommend going the efficient route to 150, bigger box and port with less power. but thats just me. it will be cheaper to go efficient

If I could do it again I would have went with 12s due to the lack of space in the car. I tried to put the batteries in the spare tire well and they didn't fit well they were up to high. the box gets installed and then all the panel go back in around it. It is a pain in the ass task. So, since I couldn't find the air space I needed. I could find the power, I would have went with a 9k but it wouldn't physically fit in the car. The setup from the 5k to the 7.5k made the system just a bit louder but a lot more musical. The car surprises people that it is a stock class car that is musical, does well on the meter and isn't a lame ass one note wonder. I know it peaks high but we messed with port and the cars peak didn't change much.

I am not going to worry about. The car has won every show it has entered in the stock class it competes. Once I lose I may redo it. Although I have more fun demoing the car than I do metering the car. A 5-10 second burp doesn't do much for me.

True enough its nit cost effective but how is car audio cost effective? Spend thousands on car audio because you like it.

The focus isn't hard to get up to 250-300hp, you can push 200-250 with 2-3k into a turbo setup. Or rip the Moto apart spend 3-4k slap on a turbo setup for 2k and be able to produce well above 300hp. Still get 24-30pg with good driving habits. You can make a 300hp focus for under the 25000 price tag the 250hp st has. The st isn't 250 at the wheels either. A built focus can produce more at the wheels for less.

Think about it this way, 250/month plus 250/month insurance. $500 a month for 72 months. Or $500/month for 20months to have built a car with your own 2 hands, sweet, and blood that can outperform the option you gave?

Wouldn't you rather build your own stereo state rather then pay someone else to do it for you? It a pride thing.

Honestly if I had a focus and didn't care about putting money into it I wouldn't waste my time on the front wheel drive 4 banger setup I'd build a terminator focus. If you did that then you would truly have something bad ass and you would never see another.

cosworth awd swap would be a lot cooler in the states, just because you couldn't EVER get that in any way shape or form in the US. Termi swapped would be cool, but it's highly probable that someone has already swapped a mod motor into a focus.

Yeah svt did it years ago the called it the terminator focus, there were all kinds of articles published about it. I'm local to the svt factory and got to see it in person at car shows, thing was nuts.

Company called ATI was also producing and selling them.

Would Rather have this than a v8 swap. What he was talking about the cosworth. http://passionford.com/forum/restorations-rebuilds-and-projects/220704-focus-rs-cosworth-4x4-ellmer-autosport-update-18-01-08-a.html

If I was able to get one of those to the united states.... I would probably loose control of all bodily functions... lol

how many cubes is that box? If I could do 2 15's in a hatch setup that would be awesome. idk about DD 15's though. they need lots of airspace. idk. Pm'd

If my computer didn't recently take a shit I'd share some ideas in working with on sketch up.

6-7cuft l, 80-120" of port, both slot and round port designs. All in the hatch but with no real too for batts or amps. Box designs very from sub port up to sub up port to driver side. Need to get my amps and make card board dummy boxes to test fitment for everything.

With some work you can fit a single 18 or 2 15s. 12s would be easier to build an efficient box for.

singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz.

you say 6-7 cubes. would you have to build the box in the hatch? would you go over the tire wells? how do you get that much room?
