Yes 8 will be the over all of the enclosure. I've seen 6 cube with 1hcca 12 in a Silverado and it blurred my vision decent. Once again the post was written for other ideas not to question why I'm building it. I'm trying to figure outbid to delete the entire post it was more or less funny to me. For building it. It's sad to see people bash the idea. It took the fun out of it. It's plain to see this forum isn't for me so if anyone knows how to delete this and my account it would be much appreciated

But do you really want to wall a single 15? I mean, a wall, for just a single medium sized sub? And at that, to get rid of it in a few weeks?

Personally I don't see the point. Even though space is tight you should be able to fit the box without walling

And it's close to 8 cube. What's the issue with people building for the entertainment of the build. It's funny actually,

I'm 33 I've been building for 15 years. The question I have now is what if I was a teenager just getting into the sport? I try to encourage people to do things that isn't of the norm.

If your doing it for fun and because you enjoy it, make it happen. I like to build test boxes and you like to build test walls. It's all good. And of your gonna document the build so others can learn from it even better

but on a serious note.... i could be fun to biuld a wall..... for 1 15 seems pointless even though you can change the face of the wall. it probably wouldnt sound good on 8 cubes.....i believe thats way too big for even the hcca series.....i could see if you had an 18 and wanted to wall it on lower power with a bigger box (wall).

and it didnt take you very long to get upset......7 posts? even if you were a first time wall builder we wouldve still said the same thing because we try to save you time and money by not building something thats not gunna perform up to par with what a wall should sound like.....

it wont last long in 8 cubes with that much power is the drawback. If you are building it for the shell to wall 16 8s you'll end up having to do a lot of shrinking to keep the hcca together. It might screw you in the long run. I've seen one 10 walled off before.

I agree with both the OP and those who questioned him. OP, if you did not want everyone to shoot down the idea maybe the question could have been phrased differently like I want to build a wall that will eventually house a ton of 8's but until then I am going to throw a fifteen in to see what happens. The only issue is if you run that sub in 8 cubes with any power you will damage it and be selling a damaged sub.

Thanks for the input we built it with 7.6 and not much port at all and it actually boomed nice nobody. Believed it was 1 15 on 1600 lol we almost pulled the sub to show we had nothing hid in there it was a cool project. And the turn out was pleasing. Everyone who was set on it not working drove us to do it lol. So in turn thanks haters lol not being smart ass at all with that statement. I'm thinking I'm going to run this sub and order another for the guy. All in all great build great garage time for the cause
