Well if snowmobiles use tracks to move in snow and tanks use tracks to maneuver in sand then hell yeah I can see those setups being usefull. It's just on a bigger scale moving more weight with more power. Wonder how they actually perform compared to tires made for the terrain though.

Only thing that I see wrong with them is the rocks and the action of the track. Notice on the rocks and logs were the track lumbers on to the log. With a tire aired down it would wrap around the rock instead of just sit on it.

Then the action the track notice how they have the front bumper trimmed some. Watch the track go up and down those small ridges. I could only imagine the track hitting the headlight going up a steep grade.
