boom50cal
Sick dude, thanks for sharing, totally jealous!!!!!!!! it'll be back on a dyno in a few weeks hopefully. The guy didn't have a realllly good understanding of the way 5.0's twin indepedent cam timing worked, so he didn't really manipulate the cams any. He just added and pulled timing from a stock tune . We're getting a drop in pump in a few weeks, and having Sean with AED Racing send us an unlocked E85 tune that should set the car around 750 rwhp. When we got back in town, we idled the rest of the e85 out, and threw the base Paxton tune back in. It's still 600rwhp on that tune, which is healty as fuck for a pump gas setup. The 120-170 acceleration was unreal. On 1/4/2013 at 9:31 PM, HatersGonnaHate said: Wow. 184 posts and I think you're a fucking asshole.

The 120-170 acceleration was unreal. yea seems like the fuel demands of E85 are insane. A lot of people seem to running dual pumps. it's mad dude. People say it takes 30%+ more fuel with e85. On the base tune, the car was pulling 29mpg with 3.31's at 70 haha. On e85, since the tune fucked up and the pcm was dumping excess fuel down low, it was getting 15 on the way back... but shit fam, 60 roll.... the videos are processing. The first pull is on 21.5 degrees of timing, but was getting way lean. So the tuner dialed back to 18.5 degrees, and thats when we figured out we maxed the fuel pump out. No difference between 60%, 80% and 100% injector duty cycle. The second is the last pull we did. 18.5 degrees timing, back to 60% injector duty cycle. Bummed out that we didn't crack 700 at the wheels... On 1/4/2013 at 9:31 PM, HatersGonnaHate said: Wow. 184 posts and I think you're a fucking asshole. Broke_Audio_Addict
E85 is a joke. That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.
