hdorre Posted January 27, 2014 Report Posted January 27, 2014 Fuck, I miss constant power.. ugh.. Anyway, back to the topic at hand.. I think the most important thing that you need to know is that it takes power to make power. You'll undeniably need considerably more electrical to power ~3300wrms, plus that 4 channel, and all your cars stock electronics. CJ18 Posted January 27, 2014 Report Posted January 27, 2014 No big 3 and stock alt, but want to run a 3000w amp. Not a good idea my friend. Don't waste money buying the 2500 and just get yourself a 1000w amp singe that is more fitting to what you will be able to handle.

DubNDodge Posted January 28, 2014 Report Posted January 28, 2014 I'm going to say a 240-270A alternator from DC, Mechman, or singer. upgrade your front bat to the largest XS power battery that will fit, and a D3100 in the rear. P4killer_ Posted January 28, 2014 Report Posted January 28, 2014 You know itd be nice to have like a video of this. Like and average vehicle with a 100a stock alt. With test showing numerically how bad the voltage drop is on 3k. And what the limits are like oh about 1500w or w.e. Then show step by step how much it improves. Jhunt94 Posted January 29, 2014 Report Posted January 29, 2014 I pretty much second what everyone else has said. Have you thought about running 2/0 to the distribution block? Because I'm pretty sure that t2500-bdcp has 1/0 inputs, you could use one side of the distribution block for it and the other side for whatever else. 2007 Ford F-150 Reg. Cab.
