Fuck no, but would be cool to see what SPL numbers or even port velocity he is getting to CAUSE that destruction. Think of it like this, "man how much hp does that turbo give you?" "Who gives a shit, it makes it go fast!" "Well how much mph have you gained?" "Who cares, it makes it go faster than stock!" That is basically what is happening in this thread. I mean we all do car audio for various reasons right? One of us might find port violence demonstrations to be superfluous at best. Others might find port metering, a waste of time. So who's right and who's wrong? Is there a right answer? Of the many variables of loud bass systems, one common factor is usually the desire to show people what it can do. I think it's fair for the guy to ask for a port spl. He just wants to see what it can do. Who better to request that from than the focal point of this car audio website afterall? No need to bash him for asking. I also think it's fair to respect Steve's opinion if it's just not his thing. Just because his name is in the title of this site doesn't require him to fill everyones request either. I would tune in for a port meter video personally.
