If you sit in your passenger seat does it seem as loud as the driver side?

I have never sat in the back seat or passenger seat in my car when I was playing my system. So today I did, and I was like WTF it sounds like shit. Didn't seem to be as loud at all or even the force of the bass was not there. Why is it like that? When I sit in a friends car in the passenger seat it's loud as shit. I even have a friend with the same setup as me, and it's as loud when I sit in his passenger seat as mine when I am in my driver seat. When I give people demos I can tell its loud to them by there body reactions and they tell me it loud. Is it just because I am used to my systems sound in the driver seat?

Same loudness in the passenger seat bass wise. Time alignment for mids and highs sucks balls though, even after I switched the orientation to the passenger side.

My truck was always louder for the passenger because it was the pressure side... Sounded best quality wise in the driver side, though

Port side is the louder side. If you have a centered port. The its up to your vehicle(geometry) to decide

which side or equal loudness would be cool...

Center port. I did try the driver window down a few inches. Was louder for sure but still not the same as the driver side. I think it's just me.
