G-Rad
I am getting a pair of Soundqubed HDS3 15's soon. I need to find a good enough amp to drive these subs that will make them do some work. I don't have all that much of a budget. I was thinking of the BRZ2400's since they do at least close to rated at 1 ohm Not sure if there's anything out there that can get close enough to it, with rated power in it's buedget. I am not afraid of tacking on some extra but not so much extra that it mutilates my financial budget I am blind and don't get to work much, but I save what I can and make it work. Least I am trying to Any ideas come to mind? Thanks in advance! DubNDodge
Yes you are buying budget subs that can handle 2400w. you are on a budget. Now what is your planned electrical for this said 2200-2400w? edit: I guess you can buy the subs then get a cheap amp and upgrade everything later if you plan to do so. I would say why not just back down to the 200 series if you don't have a budget to get the proper power to them '01 Dodge Stratass Sealed Trunk Build Log 2008 Honda Fit Sport Build Log On 10/3/2013 at 10:00 AM, ROLEXrifleman said: Anyone who says they knew everything they wanted out of life at 19 can go suck a bag of dicks cause they are lying to themselves or brought up in a cult. G-Rad
Well a Q1-2200 is one option I have had in mind. Probably won't be much on the electrical, 3 or so 100+aH 800+CCA Deep Cycle Marine batteries (I already have two), and I can get them from a battery shop closeby. Plus the Jeep has a 200+A Alt (can't remember) I don't own the Jeep actually. My friend does, and he is letting me "have it to play with" for car audio. I can't see to even drive a car, but I just enjoy playing around with car audio and have done it for a few years. It keeps my mind off other problems and keeps me happy. Not trying to get overkill loud, but just something to say "Hey I can at least do this... And no one should let their disabilities set them back from doing what they enjoy". sbg
^^ I think you would be more then happy with the 2200 or the 2400. Both will do what you want them to. But like I said before I think you can find the 2200 used for 300. And that would be the better amp out if the two. Not much out there for a buget 2400 watt amp. That's going to be under 500$ 01 focus se 110 amp alt Big 3 sky high and stinger hpm ofc 1/0 Super start platinum AGM (starting) 2 runs of 1/0 Execution audio front to back Kenwood double DIN DDx271 A pillars- orion 4" super tweeter and 2-1" alpines.
