Kyblack76
Damn, that's quite a gain my man. Props for putting in the effort. That sanding fucking sucks. The musical test, had to be as flawed as the tones. I saw no gain bro. This is the issue. Tarball
How long ago did you test non-sealed? There are alot of variables that can contribute to loss/gain of output, weather conditions for example. There are alot of variables that can contribute to loss/gain of output, weather conditions for example. I understand. BUt, lets look at it like this. EVERYONE and their dog, including me, thought a gain would happen. Lets look at 36hz example. Old test 154.8x new is a 153.64 If i was suppose to gain lets be on the short side. A gain of .5 That means that "the variables" cost me over 2db?! No way. ParDeus
Ahh, my bad. I thought the most recent posting said that you gained on music... I see what you're saying, it's just more proof that the meter is possibly fubar'd. Let me ask, what is the loudest your exact mic had metered? After having my TL be DOA, I went with the same meter you have. I think mine is reading high as well, cause the ear-o-meter says I'm 10db less than what I'm getting on the SPLab. Borris The Blade
Something had to up with the meter, there's now way you would of lost 2 DBs. I'm guessing you'll gain at least solid DB across the board you put in the hard work for a proper seal job and I'm tuned in for the results. It's like rubbing your wiener up against a sheep. What ive seen, is the SPL labs meter is .1 to .2 db from every term lab we went head to head with. We only did it to 3 different TL's. but, we found it to be very accurate. But, we use the blue tooth. Thats where it can get funky. Now, im not so sure my musical was that loud. Ill shit a green apple if i can pull around a 56 on music, you bet that would make me happy. We are heading out in a bit... ill let everyone know SMD SUPER SELLER The Burban Build Blazer Build sold Acura trunk build sold
