All that matters is that if they find the plane is to figure out what caused it. If they don't, fuck it, just keep it from happening again. now stop bitching over something that don't affect you.

To address the topic of the plane being hi-jacked, how would this be accomplished? What kind of safety/communication devices would you have to basically remove to get the plane off of the map basically?

Also, did they check the other hangers to make sure they didn't park it in the wrong spot? I mean, I've parked my truck in the wrong spot, but I've not thought it was hi-jacked. :P

I can see folks' thoughts about caring less about the people on that plane - due to not knowing them, per se -, but to essentially not care where that aircraft is, especially if it is safe & sound, ... because if it is, it is likely in the hands of people that are not too caring of "The West" ... & to not care about that, I really thing is pretty ignorant.
