They must be hooked up for the car to run. Do I have another option for a battery tie down? The terminal it is sitting next to is the positive. It just worries me ya know? JesseyMclame Posted March 28, 2014 Report Share Posted March 28, 2014 as long as both do NOT move at ALL, you should be fine. I'd wrap the end of that terminal in electrical tape if it was me though. Edit; Could always use a tie down strap, too. Current setup in my 96 Hoe Hu - Pioneer DEH-80prs. Much more clearance. I tugged on the tie down either way and it wouldn't budge. So my worries are gone.
