You get used to the higher SPL's 155+ but they still hurt a little on those certain frequencies. Learn to live life, not just be alive! skappascrap
Loudest car I've listened to was 157+ at low 40hz reigon, 12x12's on 24k sealed up in a hatchback hurt like a motherfucker. Before that I had only been in one other "loud" car doing low 150's at 50hz, still painful but was nowhere near as torturous as that hatchback. bassman619
I think this guy every1 is talking about that handles 155db + with no issues probably has some kind of hearing damage..I like loud music dont get me wrong but at that level youre getting close to the amount of output that can physically incapacitate someone. I mean why do you think emts and firefighters wear ear protection when riding in ambulances or fire trucks? Their horns and sirens produce 160 db+ either way u still think its cool when someone has a system that can achieve that output on music You need trunk space to get groceries and shit...bitches love groceries

I mean why do you think emts and firefighters wear ear protection when riding in ambulances or fire trucks? Their horns and sirens produce 160 db+ either way u still think its cool when someone has a system that can achieve that output on music Wow ok....... Where to start. 1. Bass does not damage your hearing in the way you're thinking. It actually doesn't do much to your hearing at all as it's a pressure more than anything. 2. There are two types of decibels, Type A the lower frequencies generally 500Hz and lower which are a "pressure" more then a sound. Then the higher frequencies, Type B which are more sound then pressure. It's the second type that cause damage to your hearing. 3. 160db of the second type would have you on the ground in pain with tearing of you ear drum starting and possible blood. Never have I seen someone in a 160+db system bleeding or on the ground in pain. So please, before you try to act all cool. Educate yourself.
