Michael Garcia
The man that got me into car audio continues to raise the bar on the level of system I'd like to one day have. It's looking great, and when you gloss it to match the dash it should come together really nice. What kind of finish is the beauty panel in the console going to have? sprkn_ranger
Geeez man you make it look so easy! I like how you trimmed the edges on the SMD gauges to butt them all together clean. Oh and congrats on the mag feature too!! goodvibez
Nice man! I had the same idea about cutting the faceplates down like that and making one solid bezel with those gauges but went a different rout. But the way you did it came out better than I imagined, now you got me thinking about trying that again! Super clean! Yeah just did a mock up for my fan setup and wired up my TM-1.....it's seriously sooo nice not having to even worry about fans now! That TM-1 works really really nice! Works beautifully! Guages came out amazing....but let's not forget the hvac and other controls relocation.....that was some nice clean work in there! Have fun extending all those wires lol! Edited April 16, 2014 by goodvibez Quote Funny how the people who have a louder system than you will usually give you a compliment about your setup because they know how much blood, sweat, time, and money you put into it. The people who criticize or try and one up you....have a p.o.s to no system at all and will tell you all about this "other" guys system! Saddley I'm sure if I meet this "other" guy...he will probably tell me he thinks your just as annoying as I think you are! I'm not compensating, just proud of fabricating! rockFord_Expedition
Looks really, really good man. Great work as usual. I have 2 questions. Did you have to extend vacuum lines for the hvac, and what was the hardest part of relocating the controls? For your TM-1(f) did you have to do a lot of work to get the probe that reads temperature into your amp rack, or do you have it triggered off of something else easier to get to? 1 Quote Old School/New School RF Build March 2015 SOTM Winner How to crimp large wire
