No watch out! The concrete reacts with the plastic casing to create fumes that degrade the cells and if it sits there long enough you can get a bad cell so you need to store it on wood otherwise you'll have issues

As I understand it: That myth originated from batteries long ago, where they consisted of the lead plates in acid, sitting inside of a glass liner, protected by a wood box. Any moisture on the floor would soak into the wood, warping it, causing the glass inside to crack and leak electrolyte
