Knukonceptz 4/0

Recommended Posts

they do have lugs for it.. i just dont see the point in paying $2 more for 3 strands more.. now if its double the size or at least 40% more wire then it might be worth it

Skyhigh I think has said the 2/0 is 7500 strands and knu is claiming 10000 strands. Really though for the price of a spool of the knu you could alnost buy two spools of the sky high and two runs of skyhigh 2/0 would carry much more current than one run of knu 4/0.

That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.

But do the cost analysis of how many LESS runs you'd have to do. One run instead of two 2/0 OFC runs. Plus one less(or two less) fuse holders and also less terminals to buy. It could be just as cost effective if you lay it down on paper.

i thought the same thing with the 2/0 vs 1/0.. fuse holders for 1/0 can be had for $10 good ones even $1 for the ones like sky high sells.. i spent $325 on fuse holders for 2 runs of 2/0.. i could have done way more with 1/0 and even save money.. its not always cheaper to run bigger wire and sometimes not easier to do less runs of big wire that wont fit anywhere

If what would have taken 4-5 runs, now only takes two, the price per foot may NOT be so horrible. But it's hard to beat the SHCA 2/0 price per foot, since it's basically 4/0 by the AWG standards.

Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.

There's a thread over on caco about the 4/0, it's a good bit bigger than the shca but way more expensive
