I am currently finishing my doors in my Lancer to house 2 6.5 T2s and i fiber glassed the back of the door panels as well for extra strength, then will sound deaden them for even more strength.

You have a different and cool placement of your speakers, should work out nicely and sound great!

sounds like a solid build man! I'll probably be doing most of the glassing from the back to save the front from a lot of filler and time.

Hopefully your bypass goes better than mine, I spentba few hours tinkering with it for it to do nothing lol. I ended up switching to a gm regulator on the alt with an adaptor to keep the stock harness.

ah really? Damn, well, worth a shot. I wouldn't have thought a GM regulator was possible though. I wonder if it's the amount of resistance in the line.

first layer of resin on there. No pulling away this time. In a way, I'm happy it's cold out for a slow cure. I put 2 shop lights on it to make sure it was a little warmer though.

I second that. Doors are going to turn out amazing with that idea. I bet they sound great too.

thanks guys. I really hope so....Only thing I'm worried about is wrapping them in vinyl. I've Never done it before; but I'm thinking I might just take my A pillars down and wrap them to get a feel for it.

Just checked this thread from start to finish. Man... This is looking good. I've always been a fan of that generation of prelude. I will definitely be back to see more.

Thanks a lot man!

Thanks man!

Have you considered painting them?

I did consider it....But painted interior to me, has always been more of a show car type thing. This is my daily, so I want to keep it more subtle...Plus I'm way too clumsy to make sure I don't scratch painted panels.

I like that a whole lot better than the first attempt! Considering the craftsmanship you have shown with every other facet of this build I think you have no worries when it comes to the wrapping part.

Thanks man, me too. Just gonna take it slow....maybe have a beer or 2 before I attempt it (most likely I'll be doing it inside since it's already getting frigid out)
