Syphlyn
Purchased a SAZ-2000D and going to order an X12 woofer. What is the maximum speaker cable size allowed. Could I use 8 gauge OFC power wire to wire my sub to my amp?? Thanks Also can I use 16 gauge OFC speaker wire as my remote turn on from my HU? I would do 1 run of this and then run it to both of my amps in the back. Am I better off using 12 or 14 gauge or just stick with 16? Broke_Audio_Addict
16ga is fine for the remote wire and you should be able to split it for two amps no problem any more than that and you will need to run a relay. Syphlyn
Do you have hardware stores in Canada? Well but Its way cheaper online and since i'm ordering the shipping is relatively free. Go to any audio shop up here they want $5 for ONE 1/0 gauge ring terminal. I can get them online in the USA for 1.75 ea. BigManAC
I would go either 8 or 6 guage for speaker wire, preferably 8 guage. For the remote, three is usually the most you want to do off of one line out with out a relay so two would be fine. MurdocGTP
He's correct on that point. I live in southwestern Ontario and the price that retailers charge for the accessories up here is insane. I settled on everything I needed to do my install and ordered it from Knukonceptz. I did my entire car including big 3, amp install kit, speakers and distribution block for 200 bucks. Locally it would have cost 4-500.
