TRON
$45 for a sheet of 3/4'' MDF, multiply that by however many sheets you need, $20 for some glue and screws and save the rest of your money on the experience you'll earn from doing it yourself. alaskanzx5
$45 per sheet of mdf? I'm in Alaska and last I saw it was only 34-38/sheet. Get a gallon jug of titebond wood glue for under 15 and a no of wood screws for under $20. Can build up to like 4-5 boxes for 2 12s with all that glue and screws. Then its a sheet or 2 per box. t1500bdcp 2 t2d4 15" 1 t600.4 1 t400.2 1 set p1 tweets singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz. alaskanzx5
That's true Nate. If not multi layering besides the baffle then it can go a log way. Bead of something like liquid nails on all the inside corners to help makes sure its sealed up real good. That's like 10-20. t1500bdcp 2 t2d4 15" 1 t600.4 1 t400.2 1 set p1 tweets singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz. Pasta Prime
My last two boxes were real cheap since i got about 30 sheets of MDF for $3 a sheet. Now its all but gone (I've built a lot of boxes for people) after i cut for my smaller 4th order. Its so worth doing it yourself if you have the time, tools, and tenacity. New build coming........ OrionStang
This one time, for my wall, I bought 13 sheets of MDF... But built it yourself, right? Imagine the cost of paying labor. Fuck that. SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread
noobslayer77
got mine for 250. 1 inch mdf all the way around. slot ported. 4.6ish cubes. working on building a 6 cube box right now for my subs. I have leftover mdf from a box a had that housed 2 15s. buying an enclosure was more of a convenience thing for me. I haven't had time to build and just wanted some bass. I can't build an enclosure on an oil rig and i was in the field for the last 5 months with the exception of a 1 week period. 2004 Jeep Liberty Limited 2 13w7s skar 3500 cnf mids (soon) xs batteries
